Mission Statement
We provide South Florida with rapid COVID-19 results, using PCR and quantitative antibody tests. Furthermore, results are available within minutes.
Our partnering medical colleagues, clinics, and urgent care centers around the United States send their samples to our Boca Raton location.
After we receive the results, we then process the samples. Within 24 hours we deliver reliable, rapid COVID-19 PCR & Quantitative Antibody test results through the client’s assigned private portal.
In addition, we also offer Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines.

Gregory Q. Marsella, M.D.

Dr. Marsella is a physician by training and a board-certified psychiatrist. He received his B.A. at Harvard. His M.D. at the University of Pennsylvania. And his residency training in psychiatry at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center.
Gregory Marsella is a co-founder of Da Vinci Research Institute. His independent clinical research company does grant-based medical research. Additionally, Da Vinci Research Institute offers local, contract research services to Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies, and national CRO’s.
In addition to its other missions his research facility is a medical research network furnishing study-procural, patient-recruitment, site-management, and research administrative services for its participating practices in Florida.
Over the past 30 plus years, Dr. Marsella has run a research laboratory conducting Phase II thru IV industry sponsored, IRB & FDA regulated clinical trials.

Christopher J. Castronova

Christopher Castronova is the Senior Director of Lab Operations, Co-Founder and Co-President of Particle Theory, Incorporated. He has a degree in Health Information Technology. He’s also attended the University of Miami, where he became an ACRP certified CCRC.
Christopher started in the medical field managing billing systems and private medical practices. He has also managed FDA and IRB supervised Phase II thru IV Clinical Drug and Medical Device Trials for major Pharmaceutical Companies. Some of the Pharmaceutical Companies include: Pfizer, Eli Lilly, BMS, GSK, Jansen, J&J, Abbott, Solvay, and the National Institutes of Health. For the past 15 years of his partnership with Dr. Gregory Marsella, he has overseen operations of Da Vinci Research Institute Laboratory. His duties included Quality Assurance monitoring along with training of the company’s lab technicians. He enacted monthly training sessions with lab employees on the proper use of research and high complexity lab equipment, according to industry standard operating procedures.
Christopher also has degrees in Business Administration and graduated with Presidential Honors from Le Cordon Bleu. He is certified by Neuronetics in Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. He is also certified by Brainsway on Deep Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Lauren graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University with a degree in Biology. She is currently attending Florida Atlantic University in pursuit of a Masters degree in Biomedical Science.
Alexis Buono

Alexis has a passion for healthcare and helping others. She was born in Orlando Florida and graduated with honors from West Orange High School. During the entire course of her schooling she was a member of the National Honor Society. She is in her Senior year at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. Her education goals consist of pursing a major in both Business and Health Care Administration. After graduating with her Bachelors from FAU, she will be pursuing a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration.
Josh Lopez
Medical Laboratory Technician
Certified Phlebotomist
Josh relocated from Central Florida to South Florida and currently attends Palm Beach State College, in pursuit of a Nursing degree. He served in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years after graduating from high school with honors. Josh is a certified Combat Life Saver and holds certification in Tactical Casualty Care. Upon graduating, he plans to receive his commission in the armed services.

Luca has two degrees in Civil Engineering Technology from Utica and Alfred State College. Luca graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelors in Science after interning for Monroe County Pure Waters.
Melissa Torchia
Co-Vice President & Executive Consultant
Melissa has a passion for cultural studies and is fluent in three different languages. She graduated from Monroe College and has proceeded to have a successful career of thirteen years with the University of Rochester. Melissa is now a dedicated volunteer within (and outside) of the local community.
Amanda Torchia
Executive Consultant
Amanda is a Cum Laude Graduate from St. John Fisher college. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Management and a minor in Religious Studies. Her current career in education has led her to receive several awards for state-level speech competitions. She is also the founder of the youth organization, “Educate To Create”.
